DETAILS/SCHEDULE: 

• 9:00AM: Light breakfast will be available between 9:00am-9:30am.
• 9:30AM: Class #1 (Ethics) will begin promptly at 9:30am and end at 12:30pm.
• 12:30PM: Lunch will be served between 12:30pm-1:00pm.  
• 1:00PM: Class #2 (Core Law) will begin promptly at 1:00pm and end at 4:15pm.  

Those who only register for ONE class are still welcome to come for lunch.  Please just indicate that on your registration.  

CLASS DESCRIPTION: 

Class #1: "Ohio Canon of Ethics and NAR Code of Ethics" **Virtual Option Available**

Description: Ethics is a complex and often controversial topic with many nuances. In this class, we will explore the disciplinary actions taken by the Ohio Division of Real Estate and how they correspond with state-mandated Canons of Ethics. In the second half of the class, we will examine the National Association of Realtors' Code of Ethics and analyze relevant case studies related to ethical practices. Prepare for a challenging session that will encourage you to critically evaluate your understanding of ethics. 

Class #2: "National and Ohio Real Estate Core Law" **Virtual Option Available**

Description: Exploring the latest legal issues addressed by the Ohio Division of Real Estate, Ohio REALTORS®, and NAR.  The topics will cover updates on current laws, a review of legal matters in Ohio and nationwide, as well as the most relevant issues affecting our industry today.  Get ready for an informative deep dive!

**Virtual Option: When you sign up for the virtual option you will receive a Zoom invitation/link for each class via email upon registration as well as the day before the class.  You must be present with your camera ON 90% of each program in order to receive credit. Please call MOAR at 937-335-8501 with questions about virtual registration.**

CLASS COST: FREE class for MOAR members.  $30 per class OR $50 for the entire day for non-members.

CREDIT: Each course is certified for 3 hours of real estate credit. A total of 6 hours of real estate credit is available.  Per ODRE requirements, you must be present 90% of each program in order to receive credit.  Class #1 (Ethics) counts toward your NAR Code of Ethics CE requirement as well.  Please send a copy of your completion certificate to our office at moar@moarrealtors.com and we will update your record.  MOAR members will have their records updated automatically.
